I had serious problems with my gums and began regular teeth cleaning
with a very naggy hygienist. For several years, two or three
times a year, I worked with my hygienist to get the gum disease under
control, doing whatever she told me to do and getting nagging from her
in return and not seeming to get anywhere.
Upon a recommendation from Dr. Rudd
I purchased a Rotodent electric toothbrush and used it regularly.
About 6 months later I again visited my naggy hygienist and at the end
of my cleaning session she stood in front of me and said: "Jo, I
don't know what you're doing but whatever it is, keep it up. I've
not seen your gums in this great a shape." I told her about the
electric toothbrush and she was impressed. Since the
Rotodent I've regularly used a Brauns electric toothbrush and my gums
have improved and no more "nagging" when I visit the dentist's
office. I'm committed to electric toothbrushes and in particular I love the Brauns, and I'm committed to regular teeth cleanings and dental checkups.

you and your excellent staff provided me. I had gone a long time
with my very stained smile and I am so glad that you helped me with the

Growing up I had a very bad experience at the dentist,
which has stuck with me as an adult. I have never felt
comfortable, and for the most part fear dentists and having dental work
done. I have always been very apprehensive and kept putting off
much needed dental work, so my teeth just got worse until I would
eventually get one pulled here and another pulled somewhere else.
Meeting Dr. Rudd was a great experience!
Dr. Rudd walked me through step by step of what to expect during my
treatment even though I was sweating bullets at my first visit, I
realized quickly that it was just as he described. He promised
that he would do his very best to make me comfortable and answer any
questions and address any concerns that I had along the way. He kept his promise and I am now almost finished with my extensive dental work. I wish I would have met Dr. Rudd sooner!

Growing up I had what they call “peg laterals” which are very small, rounded
teeth next to my two front teeth. I was embarrassed and self conscious of my smile but no one seemed able to fix it without doing at least 6 crowns across my front teeth.
